Andrea Childers

Music has been a lifelong journey for Andrea Childers. Coming from a deeply musical family and performing for over 40 years, she truly has music in her blood. As a teenager, Andrea played in several youth symphonies and orchestras, building a strong classical foundation that continues to shape her versatile style today.

Currently the fiddle player for the bluegrass-country fusion band Vested Interest, Andrea brings energy and emotion to every performance. She can be seen performing solo and stands in with several local performers regularly. Her greatest passion lies in helping others connect through music and inspiring a lifelong love of learning and creativity.

Andrea is a dedicated teacher who offers lessons in violin/fiddle, guitar, ukulele, beginning piano, cello, and mandolin. She encourages her students to share their talents publicly, and her students can often be seen performing at community events throughout the valley.
